Polishing Tripod

The main plate for a polishing tripod. This tool will be used to polish the surface of screws and other small components. The hole at the tip is bored out for a friction fit with a pin vise to hold the work pieces, and the smaller two holes are tapped to accept levelling screws.

I used a pantograph (a tool for scaling down inputs to a milling bit) to engrave an insignia on the plate, and finished it with straight graining and bevelled edges.
